Where Meat Comes From

Emmalynne and I were having a good ol' conversation about where meat comes from while she was eating some ham lunch meat. The conversation began because she informed me that she knows that cows give us milk. So I explained that we eat cows too. That's what cheeseburgers are. She wanted to know why we eat them. I just told her that some cows give us milk and some cows we eat. She was good with that. She actually thought, "Ok, so if they don't give us milk, we eat them."

Then I told her that ham is a pig. She kind of giggled and thought it was cool that she was eating pig.  I had given her an entire container of lunch meat and noticed she had eaten quite a bit. I asked her, "Emmalynne, don't eat all the ham, ok?" She said, "Ok. Why? Because if I do, I'll turn into a pig!? ...   And then you'll eat me!?"

I just laughed. It was so funny.
